I aspire to be a Data Scientist

Why did you choose Aspire High?

I chose Aspire High Youth Development Inc. because of its mission to empower young people through education, mentorship, and community support. That really aligns with my own values—I like working on things that have a real impact on people’s lives, not just technical outcomes.

As someone with a background in data and technology, I saw a great opportunity to contribute by using data to support decision-making and improve programs. I was especially interested in how Aspire High combines community work with structured programs, which creates meaningful, measurable outcomes.

Also, I wanted to gain experience in a mission-driven organization where I could grow professionally while contributing to something bigger than myself.

How has your experience been at Aspire High?

My experience at Aspire High Youth Development Inc. has been very positive and rewarding. I’ve had the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment where I could apply my technical and analytical skills to real-world tasks.

One thing I’ve really appreciated is how mission-driven the organization is. It feels meaningful to contribute to work that supports youth development and community impact. During my time there, I’ve also improved my communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while working with different people and handling data-related responsibilities.

Overall, the experience has helped me grow both professionally and personally, and it has given me a better understanding of how data can support organizations in making informed decisions and creating a positive impact.
